"o prea mare iubire ucide" - o poveste adevarata

 

„Mistrețul cu colți de argint” este considerată a fi una dintre cele mai frumoase poezii din literatura română. Autorul, Ștefan Augustin Doinaș (numele real Stefan Popa), a murit pe masa de operaţie, la Spitalul Fundeni din Bucureşti, în urma unui infarct. Se intampla pe 25 mai 2002. Sotia, Irinel Liciu (fosta prim-balerina la Opera Romana in anii 60) a refuzat să îi supravieţuiască. S-a dus acasă, în apartamentul pe care îl împărţiseră vreme de 42 de ani, şi a înghiţit un pumn de somnifere. Avea 74 de ani şi a considerat că viaţa nu mai are rost fără cel pe care l-a iubit. Înainte de gestul fatal şi-a scris ultimele cuvinte de dragoste pe o foaie albă de hârtie: "Domnul meu şi Dumnezeul meu, iartă-mă! Doinaş, dulcele meu, o prea mare iubire ucide".
